PAYPAL
Helping new customers get the most out of PayPal
My PayPal work spanned across Europe, USA and Canada. Delivering emails, App Store designs, web homepages, onsite assets, social campaigns and branding. My brief was to ensure new sign-ups start using as many aspects of PayPal’s services as often as possible. A key part of this work is their 30-day programme which introduces new customers to the full scope of PayPal’s services, Our work has outperformed their controls emails and activity.
Campaign email animations.
To uplift response and emphasise the offer, we started adding animations to the emails. We focused on delivering the offer in a quick but engaging fashion that contributed to the overall direction and tone of the email..
PayPal App Store Rebrand
Customers weren’t engaging past the third screen of the existing creative app store pages. Download numbers were not high enough. We were briefed to revise the design to encourage visitors to progress further through the benefits and download the app.
We created two new designs to test against the control. They both reduced the visual clutter and created more seamless, connected journey from screen to screen. One that walked visitors through the benefits of the PayPal app, in a more engaging and simple fashion. Early results are very positive on performance, and we’re confident that they’ll continue to beat the control.
‘Spend, Send, Donate.’ Instant cash paid media animations.
Test Facebook ads as an additional channel to support the email-based instant cash incentive program. PayPal wanted to run a social campaign showing the benefits and versatility of using the App. Adopting the brand style of photography and illustration we placed customers in everyday situations, bringing the actions of spend, send and donate to life.
